democrats win control of the senate and the house!

so it looks like republicans got their asses kicked.

dont see so many of the normally boistrous bigots posting. wonder why?

StickyGreen 11-07-2006 10:16 PM

the senate too now? lol, says who?

squishypimple 11-07-2006 10:18 PM

Is that good?

leedsfan 11-07-2006 10:24 PM

im just trying to bait a fish or two. Personally it doesn't bother me either way. The worse the US economy gets the less money i can make thats all. I think its pretty even who wastes more money.

Well Dunn 11-07-2006 10:37 PM

The economy will go down the shitter thats for sure.... only reason I dont much like the dems getting control is my brothers due for his second tour in iraq, and they have made it pretty clear they intend on choking funding off to iraq to try and pressure bush out of there. While id prefer my brother not to ever have to be deployed again (IE: no iraq war), I would much rather have him well funded, fed, and at least a senate/house that pretends to give a shit about them.

As an online poker player though yay.

marketsmart 11-07-2006 10:38 PM

damn, i missed it live :(

GetBigCash 11-07-2006 10:47 PM

Same assholes different line of shit.

Babaganoosh 11-07-2006 10:54 PM

Dems don't have the senate yet. 3 votes are undecided and the dems need all 3 for control.

Axeman 11-07-2006 11:01 PM

Montana looks good for dems. Missouri based on polling counties not reported yet, is leaning towards a slight dem advantage, and Webb is leading in Virginia with 31,000 votes from fairfax county left to count, which is going to expand the lead.

Missouri is a red state. Those hillbillies vote republican.

This will be the deal breaker. So far, the dickhead has a 3% lead. The news said most urban areas have already reported which leaves the rural hicks. Not good. At least the dems got the house.

pigman 11-07-2006 11:12 PM

Atm its looking good for the dems.

I'm IN Kansas City...and you repeated what I just said.

Tempest 11-07-2006 11:57 PM

2 of the senate seats are "independent" and although they've "said" they'll vote with the dems, even if those last 3 go dem, it's still not really a TRUE dem majority.

Yes but you claimed it was going republican which is not the case. McCaskil is leading by nearly 30,000 votes with most of St. Louis still not reporting.

While this is true, one of those independants is Joe Liberman, who is a democrat but was not voted to represent his party due to his stance on being for the war. He however is a democrat.

hydro 11-08-2006 12:07 AM

mo goes to the dems

Bingo, NBC just gave her the win and Jim Talent conceded.

Montana looking strongly democrat right now.

All down to Virgina counting all the absentee and provisional ballots and possible recount...

Love it.

When you don't follow the WILL of the American People, the American People WILL remove you from power.

That is the beauty of our system, however bad it is at times, it always corrects itself when it is tilted too far to one side.

The guy in Vermont is borderline socialist and will vote with the Dems as they always have. Lieberman has been a Dem his whole life, has voted Dem his whole life with the exception of the war. He'll be a Dem and has stated he'll vote like one.

dotcommer 11-08-2006 12:32 AM

Currently 226 Dems - 185 Repub

I think you need to visit St. Louis, Missouri... you're wrong about the "hillbillies"... Maybe you have us confused with Mississippi or Arkansas?

Anyway, fuck off... you know nothing about the state of Missouri.

Missouri - Republican candidate has just conceded defeat. The senate is up for grabs now.

Oh really? I'm in Kansas City. My parents used to live in Knob Noster. Don't tell me I know nothing about Missouri and the hillbillies that reside there.

Mr. Mojo Risin 11-08-2006 01:25 AM

There are a lot of hillbillies in the Ozarks. Southern Missouri and Northern Arkansas. Been there....

rodney25 11-08-2006 07:53 AM

I jjust saw Hillary Clinton's speech a while ago. Looks like Democrats really found a contender for presidency on this woman.

reynold 11-08-2006 09:20 AM
