Someone please help me
Hi all-
I have been tryin to install a trade script. I tried using Chokers TTT script. I used an unused domain to try to get it to work. I am on dreamhost, yeah yeah i know, but they cant help me either. It said to put the htaccess to turn on ssi which i did. If i change the main page to .php instead of .shtml it works. I want it to be shtml. When you load the page, its blank. the source is wierd. http://www.canadianblackgirls.com How the fuck do i make this load right, instead of a blank page? Ill do whatever ;) WB |
Even if you haven't activated ssi it should be displayed in the page source like the usual text, so it seems to be active.
And the only reason of this I can think about is wrong ssi-code, it does smth wrong. Have you tried to get in touch with the script developers? |
It happens with every script that I have tried to install. I followed the direction very carefully on all the scripts, it just wont work. Odd it works with .php, not shtml, it wont load the page. Any other ideas? Thanks

Are you sure that ssi itself works?
Create the file test.shtml there and fill it with: <html> <head> <title>SSI Test</title> </head> <body> <!--#echo var="DATE_LOCAL" --> </body> </html> then open it through your browser, it should show you the date and time. If it doesn't - kick your admin :) |
Do you have any ssl installed? If yes, could be a setting with it, if not, then there is the problem.

ok, the test.shtml worked. I dont get it. I also see that the command line is outside the <head></head> lines...This is what I have as a header.
<head> <!--#include virtual="ttt-in.php" --> <meta http-equiv="Content-Language" content="en-us"> <META NAME="Keywords" CONTENT="black hardcore, movies, free movies, teen porn, porno"> <META NAME="Description" CONTENT="free porn site with hardcore movies and videos for black pornstar lovers"> <META NAME="robots" content="index,follow" <META NAME="Author" CONTENT="[email protected]"> </head> perhaps i did it wrong? Why would it work with the .php extention and not the shtml? man I have been working on this for 2 weeks, i cant get this fucking thing to work. anyone want to help me? ill pay if needed. I want to install a trade script on 3 domains. thanks. |
What does your htaccess look like?

test.shtml worked, index.php works and tracks incoming trades, index.shtml with out the <---#includes--> tag loads( but does not track) I moved the <--# all around the page, it just renders the blank page. I have atempted this with many different free scripts, all do the same. The htccess is:
AddType text/html .shtml AddHandler server-parsed .shtml Options Indexes FollowSymLinks Includes Any other ideas? Eddie |

Do you have any control panel installed on the server? |

:) try tm3 it should work, I really have no ideas what else could it be.
Ask your admins to look at the suexec log, it should write what is the problem |
