...will still be profitable for the average webmaster in year 2010?

I remember how easy it was to make a buck in 2002, just putting a banner online was enough to make money. Nowadays it's really hard to make a buck, due of competition and free content in p2p programs, but mainly due of competition between webmasters.

Do you think it will still be profitable in year 2010? Webmasters that nowadays make 3k per month of profit will be able to do at least 1k-2k in 2010?

Just like any business, you must stay ahead of the curve. You can't expect to keep doing the same shit. At some point others have found your magic potion, and carbon copied in 10, 20, 30 thousand times.
