Paymonde: Due Diligence

If you need a nice little break from your daily panic attack about the increasingly probable meltdown of Paymonde (aka the new Ibill), perhaps you ought to try a nice bit of googling...

Start with the name "norton burah" -- president of Paymonde. Seems Norton is very fond of giving interviews as well as issuing press releases, particularly extolling the protection of the public (and webmasters) from, of all things, fraud.

My personal favourite is from AVN:
"My Virtualcard Kills Fraud Dead"

But there's lots more out there and I encourage all interested webmasters to take a few moments to introduce yourself to the life and times of Mr. Burah.

If you'd like to drop a note (or some other type of paper) to and/or on Nort, you might wish to send it to this address:

Mr. Norton Burah
President
Paymonde
2021 Union Suite 818
Montreal, Quebec h3a 2s9 Ca

Rather than bothering Mr. Burah with any further correspondence (to which, from past experience, we assume he will not bother to reply) we are planning on sending something directly to the RMCP and other official legal bodies in the Province of Quebec.

Enjoy!

don't forget ceo Howard Cohen

"?A lot people came to us and said that [other companies] have a debit card system and we have a lot of problems with them. You guys are always trying hard to please your customers, you should try to come up with a debit card program where people can access their funds at an ATM machine,? MyVirtualCard CEO Howard Cohen told AVNOnline.com."

There are a few people who have an interest in MyVirtualCard from the past - and prob good reason for MVC "disappearing" and Paymode rising from the ashes.

Here's a sampler...

http://willeystudios.com/

All of these corp names or net faces, MyVirtualCard, Funds2Go and Paymode, are interconnected in more than just "trading relationships" despite claims by "JollyJoe" to the contrary.

Webby 11-07-2006 04:18 PM

BTW... This domain was a contact for a processor.. yaskifo.com. There may, or may not be a connection. The background on yaskifo.com is that is was used as a contact point (email) and closed down immediately funds were owning to clients. (With the usual modus operandi of hiding behind maildrop addresses and corp names)

No, we must not forget Mr. Cohen nor, for that matter, the "voice" of Paymonde here on GFY, none other than the suddenly very quiet Mr. Joshua Ungar (aka jungar -- do a search for his posts on GFY). He's only made a mere 377 posts on this board alone.

His GFY info:

email: [email protected]
ICQ: 339460672

More to come!

Joshua isn't with them anymore, hasn't been since June.

He has nothing to do with all the shit they're causing.

mistermee 11-07-2006 05:17 PM

If, as has been reported, Mr. Ungar has left the ailing S.S. Paymonde, then I humbly ask his pardon for having suggested in this thread that he is in any way associated with the current management.

As far as our friends Nort and Howie are concerned, I'm assuming -- until otherwise disabused of the notion (that is, until we are paid) -- that both are rats who have yet to leave the sinking ship.

BTW: I earnestly hope that I am wrong. Perhaps they're merely taking a short holiday, perhaps in a picturesque African or Eastern European nation.

well so far as I am concenred i am still getting payments from them w/o a hitch

This is good news...for you, at least. How comes it tho that so many others are not receiving their payments? This is extraordinarily interesting. We have received nothing from them this week and yet some are reporting payments. This makes me even MORE nervous and upset than before.

If some webmasters are receiving payments and others are not, then we must assume that they have now undertaken a policy of paying some and not others. And what, one wonders, is the criterion for that?

HighSociety 11-07-2006 08:02 PM

still waiting for this weeks payment, this is the first time in 2 years it has not arrived on monday or tuesday. normally if it is late it will post of tuesday, i have 11,000 dollars sitting in the 6 month hold and stand to lose that if they were to shut down :(

MaddCaz 11-07-2006 08:05 PM
