Yes, theres a small chip on the bumper that immediatly notifys carfax via satellite once the lower right bolt is loosened

Carfax sucks, most stuff doesn't even show up.

Was there a police report?
Where did you have it replaced?

To answer your question though, if you go through insurance, yes it will show up. If you privately buy the bumper and have it painted and installed, it wont.

I had it replaced at a body shop.

So if there was a claim, it will show up at Carfax?

Took a few days, but my new floor mats are listed on my report. Give it some time. :helpme

Dude my 04 Toyota Tacoma was T-boned did like $12k in damages. It shows as nothing ever happened to it on carfax. Carfax is like AFF nothing but fake profiles..

If the insurance company was notified than yes it will show up.But with just a bumper being replaced its not relly that big of a deal.I purchased a mustang a few years back that had been through a hurricane and the bank still loaned me 13k to make the purchase.

What % does it take off the the value of the car? I know if I was buying a used car and I saw that on carfax, I would try to haggle the price down a little more. The bumper was $1,600 to replace.

depends on how you go about it
