New record for the longest shot made by a military sniper in combat
 

It seems some of our boys have set new records for taking an enemy target out at a distance of 2,310 meters and 2,400 meters. My cousin who is serving over in Afganistan on a recon plane mentioned something about this to his father a while back but I guess the stories just coming out about it.
Here's a link to the first part of the story with the next part with the confirmed kills coming out next month. Oh btw, they were using American issued bullets for the kills. Ain't them .50 cal rifles something else. :thumbsup

the max shots i had in army was up to 1200m with no eye focusing help. This distance is huge, the target looks like it's on another planet....now imagine 2300m
In reality with not the capable equipment is near impossible to hit the target in such distances, but this way they can find the very few selective that will go further. Of course I wasn't one of them.

The Afgan prisoners in Cuba deserve whats coming to them. They were fighting against us. We had warned Afghanistan about their terrorist camps long ago. Well they let it bite them in the ass when the terrorist attacked us. What do you think we should do, nothing. Let them organize all they want for further attacks. I fired the M14 at 700 yards NO scope and the (believe it's 1 foot)bulls eye is a tiny tiny spec.. At 2,310 meters and 2,400 shit they must have some very nice scopes.
