That has to be spoof ad.....

Not the fact that they are removing it from the market... just that a company actually PUT that on the market.

Other than the name of the 'Peekaboo' it really doesn't look like this is being marketed to kids, looks to be more of an adult novelty than anything else.

          Tesco Peekaboo Pole Dancing Kit

I don't see anything wrong with it.

It was displayed with other toys where kids would browse and could pick from a list. And if it would be for adults, I dont see why they would 'disguise it' as a toy adding fake dollars with it and a tiny garter.

Dunno, if you go to eBay and search for it nearly all the results all have 'stripper' in the title. I don't think 'stripper' would be a hot selling item for kids. Looks to be marketed as an adult novelty item.

Haha, sounds like J K Rowling should get that on the market!

On ebay yeah, although on the tesco site it seems like that woman said it was displayed in the toy section. Plus, it does seem packaged to attract kids, not adults.

Eh, it does look kinda 'brattish' so I'll agree to an extent but all the flashy neon-ish colors do seem to fit the stripper appeal as well. I think the name was the biggest 'no-no'... shit, peekaboo? If they hadn't had that in the title I don't think it would be that big of a deal.
