I remember that guy from years ago, and always thought he had inspired Borat, but I read on IMDB that the character was inspired by a guy Sasha Baron Cohen met... a barber or something.

I hope that Mahir Cagri gets a HUGE settlement from Cohen and the film's proceeds. The whole Borat thing is a total rip, and Mahir Cagri deserves to make money off of it. It is Cagri's concept and he deserves his piece.
