People on welfare should face mandatory sterilization...

I'm not talking about the people who use it temporarily (as it is intended) to get on their feet. I am talking about the people who abuse the system and use welfare as their permanent means of income. Give them the choice of remaining on welfare and never bearing another child or getting a job. I am tired of paying for them and the 19 kids they pop out when they can't even support themselves.
I also propose a program that pays crackheads and other addicts wandering the streets $50 to be voluntarily sterilized. |

I agree wholeheartedly with the premise of this thread, as expressed in the title.
I didn't read any of the POSTS though because Ice is a Homo. |

Sterilization sounds like a program from the Third Reich.
How about just banning illegal aliens from receiving welfare and health benefits and other taxpayer funded bonuses, costs that prevent average Americans from affording the same for their own families? That would be a big start. |

Agreed! Those who abuse the system and just have children for more money should have their tubes tied.
	 |

The US used to do this. In fact, the US Supreme Court in BUCK V BELL http://www.law.du.edu/russell/lh/alh...buckvbell.html ruled that such sterilizations are OKAY. Written by no less than Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes: "The principle that sustains compulsory vaccination is broad enough to cover cutting the Fallopian tubes. (citation) Three generations of imbeciles are enough."
Good thing attitudes changed after Buck v Bell and it was overturned later. Putting the power over reproductive rights in the hands of the State is definitely very very problematic. |

"Founded in 1998, Project Prevention has paid 1,684 drug or alcohol addicted clients in 39 states and the District of Columbia to obtain long term birth control. With 42 local and state chapters nationwide, Project Prevention intends to meet its goal to increase the number of clients served by raising the dollar value of its cash incentive to $300, providing a higher cash incentive of $500 to the first 100 women who take advantage of the program in 2006, and expanding its grassroots network of local and state outreach chapters." |

I know a girl..that has been on welfare for the past 15 years.. she wont work.. neither will her husband.. they always say they are sick or something is wrong with them...
For 15 years they have had free houses, free food, free utilities, free medical.. they have both been offered free college... .. and now have 4 kids.. Everytime I see her I get pissy thinknig about how much money we have to pay in for taxes every year for this shit. There is nothing wrong with using welfare temp. but when it becomes the only way you live.. something needs to be done imo |

Niiiiiiiiiice :thumbsup Although it should be cut back to $50 and a cheeseburger. |

The problem is the birth rate in Western countries is falling rapidly.
The immigration policy it to keep the malls full of people, buying goods from China, who is lending the UIS money hand over fist, so as not to close the factories that are polluting the world faster than the world can cope. Which is why I doubt our esteemed rulers will do anything but buy stocks in companies like JC Penny, Tesco and Ralphs, and companies that specialise in building retail outlets. |

Obviously this process is going to cost serious money since it means the genocide of complete layers of society, but if organized well, it can be cost-effective and help clear the malls of penniless trashy bodies, and give the real spenders room to move. Is genocide included in your progressive plans for a more prosperous nation Pedro? :) |
