I would consider myself an independent, though I vote accordingly to which candidate has the best ideals/values that closely match my own. I've given my vote to many different types of political parties

Politics is all a huge, yet simple, scam that takes money out of your pocket and puts it in someone else's based on the beliefs and values of the party in majority control of the government.

That isn't as important with this midterm as would normally be with a presidential or a midterm where key issues were at stake. This is about giving the Dems a majority voice to be able question the Presidents insane policy decisions as of late. Vote the most qualified in '08

I am a republicrat....like some from both parties, guess put me down for the independent catagory.

Vote for the candidate that will do the best job not the party you feel some allegiance to. People who vote along party lines then bitch about government created the problem they are complaining about by voting the way they do.

I research and vote for whoever has the views and qualiifications to do the job they are running for. It just happens that most Democrats have the same Liberal beliefs as myself.

I'm registered as a libertarian, but I'm voting on what's best for my state and city...there are a lot of local issues in this election that I'm more concerned about...so voting accordingly for what will best suit me and my city and state...
