Why do people think over $100k for Owned.com is crazy?
 

This is the internet, it isn't going anywhere. If you want to buy it now, pay for it as an investment.. if you're lucky and buy a domain from someone dirt cheap then lucky you?

100k is easily worth it, fucking hell, not anymore are people on the internet just using it.

I got fucking friends who use it in real life when we go somewhere.

it's worth whatever someone will pay for it, and that is all. personally the domain is worth about 20 bucks to me, but in the hands of the right people could in the long run be a very small investment. who cares what you're asking, someone's either gonna pay you, or you're gonna drop the price until someone will. one day it'll sell and then we'll know. the end.

The thing with inexperienced domain owners is that they confuse appraised value and value as it perceived by other inexperienced non-owners with real value, ie offers a domain has got or the last sale price.

people over value domains. It's not worth 100k. Youtube.com is the best example, why didn't they guy who owned video.com make 1.65 billion. The product and the company are what matter

Nysus, I would say that domain is 5k to 10k. It's a popular term currently, hell i would even say its dying down in the last couple years. Next week people could be saying "That's Gnarly!!!" or "he got fuckedup" If you have an offer for anything over 20k, dump it. I dont see that domain going up, just down.

buy it from him for 100k then, and you are already up 350k according to your domain estimates.

well own.com sold for 110k i believe, so maybe not worth 100k but you should be able to get something good for it to the right person/company.
