(2) What is the symbol on the field around the 45 yard line at Gillette Staduim that looks like the twin towers or a crack pipe?

it's supposed to be the "lighthouse" the stadium has in the South endzone. Reps New England charm or whatever. So they use it as the Stadium logo. The concept of the thing was cool but it does little more than show a graphic or 2. I'd have blaring lights/ sounds and liquid hot magma shooting out of it... but hey that's just me.

It shows a bunch of things (logo, fire, lights, lightning, yellow (for penalties). It looks cooler at night. They don't need lights and sounds on it when they have those fuckers blast off their muskets.
