Fucking Grand Theft Images!
 

I came across this guys page and noticed some really expensive pics that I paid for and am registered to use. He had cropped them and photoshopped his own URL on them all. I was pissed and emailed him telling him that he is not compliant with 18USC 2257 and that the he has no right to use the copyrighted images.

The fucking shmuck emails me back and says that his "fans" emailed him the pics. and that they had no watermark or copyrights attatched.

It just kills me that some assholes don't give a fuck while I pay big bucks for freakin content and attorneys to be on the safe side.

I think Im gonna have people go up his ass with a microscope and investigate the shit out of him.

just email the content provider - they'll have his host forcing him to remove the content ASAP, or he will be shut down ASAP.

Yea. I did a couple days ago, and I havent heard back yet. I kept checking his site and nothing changed. That's what frustrated me and made me vent in here. I guess it's their content, Ill let them handle it.

We had a similar problem - I bought a copy of a magazine that I don't normally buy - I happened to buy this poarticular issue because I was the centerfold ... so I was browsing thru it and lo and behold on one of the pages was one of our Sexcontents.com pictures - and they had no copyright to use it..

we phoned them up and their excuse was: OH - one of our readers emailed it into us - that happens all the time - guys email us pics in from the web and we use them in the mag.

Tell me how the fuck they get away with that!!!

Not only are some of the pics they are using have no copyright - but what IF some guy emails a pic in of an underage girl - liek his girlfriend who might be 16 or 17 - if they have no model release /proof of age then how do they know what they are prinitng is not childporn???...

This is not a small mag either it's HUGE - so I wonder why they get away with shit liek this
needless to say we've had to get the legal team onto it and I woulld liek to know just how many pics our ours they have used before in other issues that we didn't buy ??!!!

If a magazine has your copyrighted pic/s in it, you could possibly sure for a chunck of the mag sales... definitely one to get with your lawyer over. The mags sue all the time for such.. That gate swings both ways.
