The Saddam Hussein verdict is guilty, sentenced to death by hanging. However, that also means by implication that George H W Bush, George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Bill Clinton, Madeline Albright, Condoleezza Rice, James A. Baker, III, and many others are guilty too.

· The defense attorneys have yet to be allowed to read or present their defense into the record.

· Former US Attorney General Ramsey Clark was expelled from the court room. Three defense lawyers walked out in protest.

· Co-defendant Mohammed Azawi Ali acquitted due to lack of evidence.

The Truth will be silenced, but all Hell will break out because of this trial. Pray for the safety of our US soldiers that are in harm’s way based on Bush lies. Iraqi attorneys predict that the sentences will not be carried out because it would create an outright civil war.

Conservatives Challenge Iraq Policy

WASHINGTON (AP) - A leading conservative proponent of the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq now says dysfunction within the Bush administration has turned U.S. policy there into a disaster.
Richard Perle, who chaired a committee of Pentagon policy advisers early in the Bush administration, said had he seen at the start of the war in 2003 where it would go, he probably would not have advocated an invasion to depose Saddam Hussein. Perle was an assistant secretary of defense under President Reagan.
"I probably would have said, 'Let's consider other strategies for dealing with the thing that concerns us most, which is Saddam supplying weapons of mass destruction to terrorists,'" he told Vanity Fair magazine in its upcoming January issue.
Meanwhile, the Military Times Media Group, a Gannett Co. (GCI) subsidiary that publishes Army Times and other military-oriented periodicals, said Friday it was calling for Bush to fire Rumsfeld. An editorial due to be published Monday says active-duty military leaders are beginning to voice misgivings about the war's planning and execution and dimming prospects for success. It declares that "Rumsfeld has lost credibility with the uniformed leadership, with the troops, with Congress and with the public at large."

Trust me, there is nothing conservative about Richard Perle. He is one of the DNC Communist that defected to get his War Party solidly behind Israel objectives.

I was watching An American President recently and it occurred to me what is wrong with the Republican message these days. It is the same lousy, false message that got George H W Bush defeated in 1992 and should have sent George Bush back to Crawford, Texas in 2004. The entire family is a gaggle of lying elitist, snobbish idiots. They are not the Great Americans they put themselves forth to be. They are pimps for a cause that is definitely not The Greater American Cause.

From the closing parts of the movie when President Andrew Shepherd was addressing the White House press corps and responding to the character attack:

That folks is exactly what is wrong with Bush, the Republicans and Congress in general. They have failed and they cannot sell it. That is the shrill desperation that you are hearing, they cannot sell it. They keep talking and America and others around the world are not buying it.

Productivity Slows to a Standstill

“WASHINGTON (AP) - The productivity of American workers slowed to a standstill in the summer while wage pressures were rising at the fastest clip in more than two decades, a combination likely to raise inflation concerns at the Federal Reserve.
The Labor Department reported Thursday that productivity, the amount of output per hour of work, showed no change in the July-September quarter while labor costs rose by 3.8 percent. For the past year, labor costs are up by 5.3 percent, the fastest increase since 1982.
In other economic news, the number of newly laid off workers filing claims for unemployment benefits unexpectedly shot up last week to the highest level in more than three months. A total of 327,000 fired employees filed benefit claims, up by 18,000 from the previous week.
The total number of jobless claims, which are adjusted for normal seasonal variations, was the highest since early July and raised concerns about whether the slowing economy is finally beginning to push companies to lay off workers.”

More reality surfaces as we head to the polls Tuesday to let Bush know what we think about him and his idiot ideas and idiotic policies. That just slightly contradicts the recent Official Unemployment Numbers showing a rosy scenario on unemployment. It is all a lie folks to make them look good when the opposite is true.

Caterpillar: "pockets of acute weakness" in U.S. in '07

LAFAYETTE, Indiana (Reuters) - A top executive at Caterpillar Inc. (CAT), the U.S. heavy equipment maker, said late Thursday he believes 2007 will be a year of "significant slowdown" in the U.S. housing market.
But Jim Froeschle, the general manager of Caterpillar's strategic support group and the company's in-house economist, said he was optimistic any effect the real-estate slowdown had on the wider economy would constitute a momentary pause in U.S. growth rather than the beginning of a prolonged slump.
The housing slowdown is one of two "pockets of acute weakness" Froeschle said Caterpillar is girding for in the coming year, one in which it has already warned it expects to see revenue rise no more than 5 percent -- and perhaps flatline entirely -- after years of double-digit gains. Caterpillar makes a variety of earth-moving equipment used by builders.

What is the Republican response? Be afraid and launch every sleazy attack they can dream of to keep Americans from looking hard at the reality of the situation. The SS Titanic Bush is sinking and they want you and others to think otherwise.

When you are treated like a mere piece of meat at an airport and represent no threat whatsoever to the flight or other passengers, you are denied civility, dignity and justice.

When you send an email to your Congressman and Senator and they merely delete it while you think you are having your say, you are denied justice. Most Americans do not know that their emails are tallied only for trends and deleted. The true content does not matter at all.

When you are denied the right to protest and clearly display that you think Bush and Cheney are not good leaders, you are denied justice.

When you try to vote them out and they manipulate the machines to control the outcome, you are denied justice. You are denied the right to choose who you want to lead you and speak for you.

When you lose your job due to outsourcing or corporations seeking lower wages with illegal aliens, you are denied justice by the very people who are too gutless to face the issue.

They have lined the pockets of their insider buddies while ignoring every plight of every American. Whatever your problem is they could not care less about solving it.

It amazes me that the DNC is not all over Bush on his lies. The reason is quite simple. The DNC is part of the lie machine in Washington, DC. If given the majority reins of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi cannot pursue impeachment or war crimes matters without exposing the DNC complicity in it all the way to the bottom of the barrel. Remember, CIA renditions to set up this bogus GWOT started under Clinton and Gore as did the Patriot Act and actions taken to block Bridas Corporation from denying US interests the trillions in oil and gas from the Caspian Basin.

The thought never occurred to them that they needed to change policies to get that deal done. The thought never occurred to these self-proclaimed world masters that they lack the means to control the will of 6 billion other people.

Iraq is in total disarray, civil war in progress and the death toll for Iraqis and US soldiers is climbing. The Sunni insurgents (Saddam Hussein backers) have cut and now control every road leading into Baghdad. In Afghanistan, the puppet American Karzai and that teetering faux democracy only controls the area right around Kabul and the Taliban control most of the rest of that nation. Mission Accomplished, not! In Iraq the puppet American government only controls the Green Zone in Baghdad and things are in fact getting worse. Mission Accomplished, not!

The US economy is faltering and the dollar is very weak. Mission Accomplished, not!

The theft of Iraqi oil and other natural resources under the pretense of paying for a Bush war based on lies has the Iraqis infuriated and that is not going to change until the US leaves and the Iraqis control their own natural resources and their own utilities and companies.

The pretense of attacking Afghanistan to get the ROW for an oil pipeline is not going to change. The Afghanistan people have no intentions of tolerating being abused on the basis of Bush and Clinton lies. Yes, folks, the lies go all the way back to the Carter, Reagan, GHWB, and Clinton administrations. Regarding the US desire to control the Middle East you have to look at the way back to the Johnson Administration.

“October U.S. Death Toll in Iraq Hits 101

BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) - The American death toll for October climbed past 100, a grim milestone as a White House envoy turned up unexpectedly in Baghdad on Monday following a rough patch in U.S.-Iraqi ties. At least 81 people were killed across Iraq, including 33 in a bombing targeting workers.
A member of the 89th Military Police Brigade was killed in east Baghdad on Monday, and a Marine died in fighting in insurgent-plagued Anbar province the day before, raising to 101 the number of U.S. service members killed in a bloody October, the fourth deadliest month of the war. At least 2,814 American forces have died since the war began in March 2003.
According to an Associated Press count, October has also recorded more Iraqi civilian deaths - 1,170 as of Monday - than any other month since the AP began keeping track in May 2005. The next-highest month was March 2006, when 1,038 Iraqi civilians were killed in the aftermath of the Feb. 22 bombing of an important Shiite shrine in Samarra.
The war and the rising American casualties have produced a huge drag on Republican candidates as the U.S. midterm election approaches. The vote is seen in many cases as a referendum on the war, which has stretched into its 44th month. The Bush administration has invested heavy attention on Iraq in recent weeks, trying to put a new face on the conflict with mixed results.”


Our desperate idiot president is going to send more US troops rather than admit that a His Big Lie is never going to win. Rumsfeld has approved more troops for Iraq. The troops are fed up and so are the American people.

Ooops!. As we approach Election Day, Bush reverses himself on November 2 and now says that troop levels in Iraq are sufficient. This type of vacillation is evidence of yet another Bush Brain Fart or maybe he lowered himself to read a poll. Maybe some brave soul in the White House spoke the truth and Bush heard it.

Kroll, a company owned by Marsh McLennan recently announced it is removing all of its security employees (i.e., mercenaries) from Afghanistan and Iraq.

This election is all about failed Bush policies, and character, and those on both sides of the aisle who aided and abetted the fiasco we find America in right now.

This latest flap by Bush demanding an apology to the US soldiers from John Kerry, and of course McCain had to chime in, is yet another desperate ploy by Bush. If anyone owes an apology to the US soldiers it is the Bush Administration from top to bottom. George Bush owes an apology to America and the world but I will not be holding my breath waiting for our arrogant president to atone for anything he has done. He has never done that in his life.

If you cannot find a reason to vote for yourself and start cleaning up the mess that the RNC and DNC have made of the United States of America, what follows is the biggest single reason you need to stop and think, and VOTE THEM ALL OUT!

Being sent to die for a lie is the sleaziest thing a government can do to its soldiers. The Republicans are guilty of that lie. The Democrats are guilty of that lie. Had I known Lyndon Johnson allowed Israel to attack the USS Liberty, I too would have been out in the streets in the 1960s protesting then what our government has become.

With the Republicans controlling the White House, the DNC control of the House and Senate will be gridlock and give the rest of America time to develop a game plan to take them all down, clean the house and flush the toilet.

How can one tell that multipolarization is happening out of sight of American voters? Simply, when China holds a summit in Beijing with most of the leaders of Africa. Why would they do that? Africa is rich in natural resources that China will need for its booming economy. Pooh, and Cheney is frothing at the mouth to attack Africa right after Iran. Cheney and this thug buddies were planning on 25% of US oil supply coming from Africa since is it so much closer. Since that little game plan appears to be changing, I would not trust the US government if I were Hugo Chavez. Russia is now the number one producer but who appears to be sitting on the mother lode is Venezuela.

China has rejected criticism it is ignoring environmental and anti-corruption standards in its courtship of Africa ahead of an unprecedented summit in Beijing involving more than 40 leaders from the continent.

China said Thursday that all 48 African countries invited to the two-day summit next week would send representatives, with most confirming their heads of state would attend.

The five remaining nations in the 53-strong African Union which recognise Taipei ahead of Beijing have also been invited to send observers.

The summit will attempt to give some political ballast to a relationship that has developed rapidly over the past five years, driven by China's need for raw materials, especially oil, from the resource-rich continent.

But China's expansion in Africa has also drawn criticism for overlooking human rights abuses in countries such as Sudan and declining to adopt a lending code followed by many global banks on social and environmental standards.

Wei Jianguo, a vice-minister for commerce, defended China's engagement with Africa, saying its soft loans, infrastructure projects and commercial investments were "like sending firewood in the snow".

"Chinese investments have greatly benefited the local people and have been popular among them," said Mr Wei. "And compared to western products, Chinese products enjoy a better price-to-performance ratio and better meet the needs of consumers."

China had invested about $6.27bn in Africa by the end of last year, about 10 per cent of all overseas investment. It has also financed ports, railways and other infrastructure projects.”

The largest impact has been in two-way trade, which jumped from about $10bn in 2000 to an expected $50bn this year. The trade balance is slightly in African's favour.

Why would Africa side with China over the US? The correct answer is because of our arrogant government and abusive policies, in a nutshell. Just think folks, we are financing China in their goals of having significant influence in Africa every time you hear the cash registers at WalMart.

China Pledges Billions to Africa

BEIJING (AP) - China launched a sweeping effort Saturday to expand its access to Africa's oil and markets, pledging billions of dollars in aid and loans as dozens of leaders from the world's poorest continent opened a conference aimed at building economic ties.
African leaders at the two-day meeting said they welcomed Chinese investment and business ties, but Beijing also faces criticism that it is treating Africa like a colonial territory and supports regimes with poor human rights records.
President Hu Jintao pledged to double China's aid to Africa from its 2006 level by 2009. Speaking at the conference's opening ceremony, he promised $3 billion in loans, $2 billion in export credits and a $5 billion fund to encourage Chinese investment in Africa.
"Chinese assistance to Africa is sincere, unselfish and has no strings attached," Premier Wen Jiabao said at a gathering of Chinese and African entrepreneurs held as part of the conference.

Bush and the Republicans are scared because this election is a referendum on their policies and this bogus Global War on Terror they have been cooking up for many years. Oil is their target and has been all along rather than sane policies that would negate the need to make war for oil.

Rather than address and control the excesses of the Big Defense and Big Oil interests, they just rolled over for them and all of us are now paying the costs for that folly and will for the next 20 to 30 years.

Rather than develop equal balance that recognizes that the world is changing with or without US leadership, they chose a path of war to pretend they are the moral leaders. The world is not buying it, Bush cannot sell it, and the world is way past ready for Americans to wake up and get it.

Former US Army Ranger Kevin Tillman figured it out. The United States has become a nation that pretends to be what it is not and condemns in others what our government really is.

The question is – does this US government really represent the will of We the People? I know that for the vast majority of Americans that answer is no.

On November 2, both Russia and China refused to back sanctions on Iran. Multipolarization is a bitch when our leaders pretend it does not exist and prefer instead to pursue a bogus war plan on a bogus Global War on Terror.
