Easy Comus question - help the n00b
How do you get Comus to write an index.html page instead of main.html?
Help a nig out please :helpme |
not sure bro, but heres a quick fix
create index.html yourself and put this in it <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0;url=main.html"> |

Click the Pages button, then Page List from the drop-down. In the box under Target Filename you can name it whatever you like.
You can also add additional pages by naming a template and target file in the two boxes above and hitting Add Page. |
Also make sure to add your IP to the access_control.php file otherwise you won't be able to get there.
Check out the manual, because if you have this kind of issue there a lot more on the horizon! |
...and first time make empty index.html file and chmod it 777 ...Then it will be rebuild by comus with content from template...

Thanks for the advice guys... will give this a go again :)

you guys are right on it, just make a index.php page, anything on it, set the permissions to 777, then go to pages and set a new build line just like the one that goes to main except it goes to index and build
