Were pornstars sexually abused?

Serious subject. Were pornstars sexually abused when they were young? What are your thoughts?

BoyAlley 11-05-2006 11:18 AM

Ok lets use general stereotypes to classify thousands of individuals from around the world cuz that's what rational people do.

Yes every single porn star ever was twiddled by his or her daddy!

NemesiS876 11-05-2006 11:18 AM

At home on a feeding bottle or something

TurboAngel 11-05-2006 11:19 AM

I'm sure some have and some have not but there are people who have been sexually abused in all other professions also.

MaddCaz 11-05-2006 11:19 AM

well said BoyAlley...

MandyBlake 11-05-2006 11:19 AM

some yes some no. just like people in general.

galleryseek 11-05-2006 11:21 AM

there's a higher percentage of sexual abuse history amongst those involved in the porn industry than those not involved.

No kidding.
I personally know lots that aren't. Some people just genuinely made a conscious
choice to do it because they were comfortable fucking on camera and may actually enjoy sex.
So to answer, some were, some weren't. Just like every other group of people, pornstars, sluts, nuns, judges, alter boys, Wendys employees and underwater basket weavers.
Hope this clears that up.:error

xmas13 11-05-2006 11:53 AM

Every gay like boyalley was masturbated by his daddy during his youth :1orglaugh Shocking news :1orglaugh

xmas13 11-05-2006 11:55 AM

So what pornstars are we talking about? Any specific continent, country, region, town? Your city?

I wonder who the fuck got paid, and who the fuck paid, to conduct that study.

Drake 11-05-2006 12:03 PM

Is I was abused but didn't become a pornstar, is there something wrong with me?

RawAlex 11-05-2006 12:05 PM

Here's my take:

If I beleive the crap the local (Montreal) child abuse center puts out in their funding / gimmie-gimmie-money ads, something like 1 in 6 girls is sexually abusee, molested, or involved in unwanted sexual advances before they are 16.

Therefore, without any further calculation, I can tell you that on average, 18% of all pornstars are likely to have been victims of some sort of sexual whatever when they were under 16.

So there you go.

Alex

interracialtoons 11-05-2006 12:14 PM

"Sexual abuse" is the case that the moral majority uses to explain how it's possible for porn performers to not think like them. They need a reason as to why their way of life was not accepted from someone and of course something bad had to happen to someone who doesn't live like them.

It's bullshit.

It's probably more true that all catholic preist were abused as children.

How many porn stars got arrested for "acting out" their child abuse on others???

It's a silly thing to do, I know...but I gotta tell all of ya, after shooting 400+ scenes over the last 4+ years, and working right in the middle of it all, there's some definite traits that most "pornstars" posess:

1) Some sort of definte lack of attention from a parental figure, most often lack of a father. It used to surprise me when, time after time, a porn girl doesn't know her dad, or was adopted...and almost always it's a lack of a dad - not a mom.

2) A whole bunch of Christianity - in one form or another - has been shoved down the porno girls throat from as far back as she can remember.

3) In addition to the sexual abuse you mentioned, a whole lot of teen promiscuity went on with a porn star's life...which would make sense, but again probably falls back on reason #1.

4) Party girls who don't like to keep some sort of regular scehdule - or, another way to say it, from the mouth of my pal Sophia, who's been in the biz 3+ years, "porn is a great job for lazy people".

5) Almost all male porn stars are sex addicts.

There you have it. Again, as Boy Alley says, general stereotypes are a silly game to play...but hey, there's a reason why stereotypes exist.

FlamingDawg 11-05-2006 01:12 PM

they just love the sex

I would say YES with a large majority coming from some kind of broken home/bad home situation with sexual and/or physical abuse :2 cents:

Jon Clark - BANNED FOR LIFE 11-05-2006 01:36 PM

most certainly, the day the got in the biz, and they've been abused everyday since . . :1orglaugh

bdld 11-05-2006 02:44 PM

a lot of them yes. absent fathers, druggie mothers, all sorts of abuse, not just sexual.

bobby666 11-05-2006 04:12 PM

that's not our problem, our problem is to make money of them :-)

interracialtoons 11-05-2006 04:23 PM

Explain why Oprah is not a porn star...she claims abuse.

J. Falcon 11-05-2006 05:04 PM

It's stupid to think that. Now if you had said rapists or other abusers, well thats a different story.

Cyndalie 11-05-2006 05:07 PM

In this day and age, male or female, who hasn't been sexually or otherwise abused? Seriously...pornstars, religious people celebrities, wtf....

RawAlex 11-05-2006 06:07 PM

The other part is the definition of abuse is very slippery too...

In some studies, a guy turning to a girl walking down the street and saying "nice ass babe" is sexual abuse.

In some studies, having your picture taken naked as a baby in the baby bath is "sexual abuse".

In some studies, having sex before 18 with someone over 18, regardless of consent, is sexual abuse.

In some studies, finding a playboy magazine in the house when you were a kid would be considered sexual abuse, the same as walking in on mom and dad watching a porn movie or bumping uglies.

The christian do-gooders need ammo. They should look into their own flock, and realize that the catholic church has raised and supports a huge underground of child molestors and abusers. They are called priests.

:thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup

JaneB 11-05-2006 09:53 PM

There may be some that have been molested but I am going to guess more have not been. Some people just enjoy being in porn. Why always assume you have to be fucked up to be in this biz?

marketsmart 11-05-2006 09:58 PM

yes i think some of they are...

SomeCreep 11-05-2006 10:00 PM

Not all, but most.

Paul Markham 11-05-2006 11:23 PM

Some were and some were not. It's our job to make sure we do not abuse them or allow them to abuse themselves for our financial gain.

hydro 11-06-2006 02:30 AM

Well, yea most strippers/porn stars do come from homes where there were problems. That problem could be sexual abuse, substance abuse, broken home, not enough male attention, too much male attention, bad parents, alcoholism (parents). Its crazy but you are a reflection of who your parents are and how they raised you, that doesnt mean you'll end up with the same beliefs or problems as them but it definately does influence the way you think and look at the world around you. But there are plenty of girls who have had a completely "normal/standard" life and realize that they like sex, they want money, they don't want an std and the porn business is probably the safest place to get laid often without catching an std and getting paid well to do it so why not? Hell you might even get famous.

kristietan4 11-06-2006 05:08 AM

yes! its due to poverty..:pimp but more to liberty

leftybogs 11-06-2006 05:15 AM

well i think not most of them... maybe for money or fame..:321GFY

I think your a bit confused!
All pornstars could be abused but that doesn't mean that all abused women will endup becoming a pornstar.

lambpie 11-06-2006 05:34 AM

3000 people a month search for how to be a porn star, its something people actually want to do.. look at all the amateur sites, that would be a lot of abused people..

beats a normal 9-5!

reynold 11-06-2006 07:00 AM

Seventy five percent of them came from Catholic schools. :)
