anyone haveing problems with load time for your stats on sextracker i have a fast dsl connection and logging on to the stats takes like 3-4 min just wondering if anyone else is haveing these problems i have tryed it at diff times in the day and night but no change.:Graucho

Oh. Sorry, then, can't help you. Without a dedicated server you're at the mercy of your host.

I like sextracker because i can look at detailed info like domains referals etc and it has a nice layout

You can get all that from your own server, but probably not from a virtual host. If you want a nice layout, you can make a script to prettify it for you. Sextracker, I have to tell you, really sucks. I can't think of any alternatives for your situation, though. Sorry.

You bet. How much do you have to spend per month on bandwidth? I know lots of hosts who practically give away dedicated servers. I hope you're not doing TGP stuff, though, or else they would probably not take you at a price you can afford.

Sextracker does not suck. I actually find it quite usefull. Not to mention the fact they have sent me plenty of free traffic from their site directory.

So you can diss them all you want. But alot of the big guys use them for a reason :)

Why don't you use your own server stats instead? (Apart from the free traffic part.)

sextracker is great, but their stats have been turtle slow for years now, no matter how many times i tell the actual co-owner this... shrug..

Yeah, it's mostly the slowslowslowness I object to. Not to mention that you have to give them a link that doesn't pay you anything, except some traffic as pr0 said. Most of all it's that you can get all this for free without using them, but I guess most people don't do that...?

I put it on my link list, the first day they were my top referrer. They send me atleast 1.5% of my traffic right now. I am in a category that is small "voyeur" & im a constant #20-30 on that list. Which might mean more traffic for me than most people.

But hey, sextracker has been around for a long time, they must be doing something right

i keep reading that sextrackers counts less hits than the rest counters. Honestly I have experienced the opposite in the past. A very good plus is the program you can dowload from their site and check your stats without having to login each time.

all 3rd party stats are always nice some better than other but
u really do need serverstats to get the most accurate

if you have a half decent virtual host you should be able to get stats as well
