The village has 5 buildings in total and the next inhabited village is only just down the road. So, you can plan the things and set it up just like you love to do in Caesar games. The town features about 1,615 square feet of living space and land of 53,820 square feet. The town is for sale for a price of about $326,619.

Nice property with character in a nice area, despite it's kinda small. It's only 257,525 Euros, 172,289 GBP or 327,546 dollars - silly money. Fat chance of buying any home in eg the UK for that money.

Lykos 11-04-2006 08:26 PM

Crazy offer and looks very nice btw!

Christ - 5 buildings - 30m2 each? Damn that's a small village!

Mr. Marks 11-05-2006 01:44 AM

But if it comes with snooty and arrogant fuckers (not all french are fuckers, Im just talking about the fuckers), then the price HAS to go down to $20

PussyTeenies 11-05-2006 03:41 AM

eheheh would be nice if it was somewhat bigger ;)

DutchTeenCash 11-05-2006 04:09 AM

to be honest webby, i dont believe this story is true, if those pictures are the actual ones in the village for sale, no way would they only by 327,546. Each house would be worth much more than that and the deal would have been snapped up the moment it was put up for sale.

The only conclusion i can make is that this place is like a horror village where noone wants to live and thats pretty far fetched. or its like on a flood prone area or next to a high fire prone forrest. but that price is too good to be true. :warning :2 cents:

my parents a year ago were looking to move to france, in no way in any region with houses of that quality were that cheap. Even on their own!

born2blog 11-05-2006 04:52 AM

small village or not, that is a damn great price!

gotta agree

look at the last pic, it has another village in the back plus it says on the edge of the village. This is just a house divided into 5 smaller parts.

Maybe it has village rights, so you could make one house city hall and have your own board and elections etc there. But it sure doesnt look like that imho.

If you have doubt about the listing, you could always book an appointement, the phone number is on the site:winkwink:

Not too many people would be willing to own a small village because of the work and sacrifices involved even if it was offered to them for next to nothing.

The site says: "There are 5 buildings in total, each one having its own pet name - "La Cantinette", Le Pavillon "Nid d'Amour", "Le Rocher", "La Grotte" and "La Cuisine d'ete"."
