Aquarium vs Safari Trip

Which would you enjoy more?

Aquarium for me. I love the exotic looks and massive arrays of colors from all the fish, safaris are just sorta lame. Though I bet you'd get better pics on a safari than you would at an aquarium.

Safari just because I've been to the aquarium a shitload of times, and there's one in every city... A safari (I'm assuming like in africa or something?) is something you can't just go and experience on a rainy saturday afternoon.

I've loved aquariums since I was a little kid, and they're still magic to me. The best ones can make you feel like you have gone to the ocean to be with the fishies right where they are. The only thing close to a "safari" experience I had was back when I was a kid in NY, there was this place about 3 hours in Jersey called Great Adventure. They had what was basically a sand lot of maybe 10 acres, through which you could drive (on your way to the parking lot) for an extra $10 or so. For your money, you got to see 3 drugged up lions sleeping and licking their balls in the sun. And you also got to have your car attacked by a band of Babboons that should have been drugged but weren't. They were especially fond of tearing off the black rubber strips around windows. It was terrifying and sad. We did it once and I hated it. I think it gave me an emotional scar, lol. Anyways, my point is I'm sure there's lots of places that call themselves "safaris" and shit like that, but juts plain ain't. One of the things that makes aquariums morally pardonable is that the vast majority of the inhabitants don't even know they are captive. You get to see them truly as they would appear in nature. With respect. You know what I mean -- :)
