WTF?!? NATNAMES.COM does not have any domain name support on weekends??
I have one domain with them and decided it was time to consolidate it with my Godaddy account with more than 200 domains ...
I have tried 3 times now to initiate the transfer process, but NatNames refuses to acknowledge the transfer request, so I phoned them today, and was told that they only provide domain support M-F I was speachless ... for $15 per domain, am I wrong for expecting customer service AT LEAST as good as Godaddy ?? How can a company charge twice as much for their domains, and only provide half the level of customer service? Wow ... reminds me of NSI back in 1996 :Oh crap {/rant} |
godaddy & directnic have 24-7 support.

yep .... I have been a godaddy customer for over 6 years, and have no complaints
Just last week I phoned them for something, and the girl on the other end reminded me that I had 9 domains expiring between now and the end of the year. She asked if I was interested in renewing them with her now, and she gave me 50% off for doing so! This is a company who truely values your biz IMHO :thumbsup |
a small disclaimer is due here .... I know NatNet is a decent company - one of the good guys in the biz so to say - and have even partied with T and crew ...
I am not disputing the integrity of their company here, but I was really thrown in a loop to find out that their over-priced domains have no weekend TS. Sorry guys ... webmasters have their own schedules, and for a great many of us, that schedule is not 9-5 / M-F I became a webmaster to give up that 9-5 life .. |
godaddy is the shit
