how many of you saw "Clerks 2" and liked it ?
is it funny?

It's not the best kevin smith movie, but it is definitely worth watching at least once or twice.
|
agredd that it's not the best smith flick, but it was packed with enough dick and fart jokes to keep me laughing from beginning to end.

Funny as hell if you like jay and silent bob stuff, check it out.
The funniest part is when silent bob puts that music from "silence of the lambs" on his ghetto blaster out side the store and then jay starts doing the homo tranny dance, like in the scene in the silence of the lambs movie, funny shit indeed, funnier if you burn a nice thick joint right before watching. |
I loved it...while it wasn't his best flick, it is definitely worth watching a few times. :2 cents:

the best part was randall's showdown with the lotr geek in my opinion, or the ass to mouth conversation. don't wanna spoil the movie for anyone who hasn't seen it, so i'll leave it at that...

It had funny parts, but overall I was disappointed... does not do the original justice at all. Just seemed way overdone, with no real intelligent dialogue which was what I loved about Clerks.

Clerks 2 had its fair share of laughs but it just left me wondering the whole time just what the fuck was Kevin Smith's intention from scene to scene. It was almost as if he tried to push it into a new direction but it kept bouncing back and forth like Michael J. Fox. Some of the scenes don't flow well together because of this and seems fairly erratic. He managed to make Clerks 2 point out what was bad in Clerks 1 while failing to add anything really new to Clerks 2. There are some scenes that will make you laugh, but honestly imo this movie really didn't push the envelope when compared to Clerks 1.
The best part in the movie to me was the conversation with Randal about Pillowpants the Pussy Troll. I LOVED how the conversation went and how the music got dark, how the scene became almost evil in a serene way. This one scene is what saved the movie from being a total disaster for me, it was the only scene to make me truly laugh. |
