hasn't been moved for 8 months, is 20 years old, has 110,000 miles and cost me $1300 last year...

i put the battery back in, turned the key and 15 sec. later it's running like on it's first day - that german engineering :winkwink:

I am sold on teh german engineering after buying my VW. These things are absolutely a blast to drive and rock solid on the road. I have never had a car that is as fun as my VW.

I'm still on the Japanese cars.. Germans maybe good but very booring..

Riding in a german car vs. a japanese car is the same difference as having your wallet lifted by a high class prostitute or being mugged at gunpoint by a crack whore. :thumbsup

There is no comparison in quality or feel.

Yeah man, I got one of the new turbo jobs. Thing is just amazing. It's quick, handles like it's on rails and is generally a blast to drive. Like I said, I've never owned a car that is as fun as my V'Dub. I find myself taking backroads to get home now instead of hurrying as fast as I can to get there.

I need a winter beater

I have had 3 Audi coupes, a 1982, 1983 & 1984. None of which gave me any trouble and were all a lot of fun to drive! Never did get aaround to getting a quattro though.

German cars are great to drive. They handle the road nicely.. Debating between a BMW and Audi as my next car now...

Audi's are excellent cars.

i wouldn't think one second if i had to choose between them - although BMWs are certainly no bad cars

but also the new Audis are great - i'd take an RS4 in a heartbeat - if i could afford it - lol

I used to have Audi 90 Quattro from 94',awesome car,damn powerfull,was able to go 270 km/h :)

IF you want good fancy german car then is best to buy bmw.

I also think that German engeneering - the best.
