The good thing about this is that it is now on official record that zango has done illegal installs, whether directly or indirectly, and proven guilty. Beware to all affiliates who still get paid by zango for driveby downloads... Zango never goes down alone... remember that it's always someone else's fault.

That sounds like spyware to me, but I thought Zango wasn't spyware.

They must now includea feature that allows customers to uninstall the software easily?
What are they talking about? Many people here have said if you don't want zango on your computer "just uninstall it".

Hundreds of millions in illegally obtained profit... and they only have to pay 3 million. Awesome. Great. Fan-fucking-tastic. Way to send the message to other companies that it's ok to fuck over anyone you want, you'll just have to pay a small fine in the end.

they got off pretty easy...to be fair if I was in their position I would do the exact same thing, who cares if a bunch of internet nerds hate you when you are rolling in dough. Then again I am on the other side so I hope somebody rapes them.
