Original Playboy Club Card ... PIC **
 

I was at my Father in laws house and he was going through some stuff and showed me that he was an original member of The Playboy Club. He gave me his Original card from 1960 and still has the one they sent him after that in the original envelope and paper (I guess in 82 when this one expired) it had a different design on it. He also had an original table lamp from the club from when they shut down ... pretty cool .. like an orange table lamp with the logo on it. Looks like the old man was a Player ..:winkwink:

He also showed me tons of cool stuff he had from the big Vegas casino's back in the Rat pack days .. some cool stuff .. I have to build a nice bar in the house now to display it all ..

He tells me the place was real classy .. the girl were beautiful and he would take clients there for drinks and cigars .. sounds like it was a great place ..I hope the new ones can live up to that ..

its off the beaten path, but the old playboy club is located in lake geneva, wi. and is now a very nice resort that has its own airport. A very cool place, as the history behind it was that hef wanted to make it so that once you were inside you had no reference to the outside world. Things have changed since, but going there is a unique experience.

Before I got a this job working for playboy, my mom didn't want to talk about what I did on the net, then I told her I got a job working for Playboy. She told me about how her and my stepdad went to the Playboy club in LA during the 60's for dinner,, She really enjoyed it, it was very classy and dinner was $1.50, that was on the first floor, if you went up a floor it got a bit more. It was the first time she was OK with what I did for work in this industry. I really love my mother, shes a great person, but when she accepted me doing this, that meant a lot, thank you Playboy!

She still has the card, she hasn't decided if she's going to give it to me, it means a lot to her!
