All of you who think you're in control of your life. To just take the rest of the day off, if you are at the office, grab your keys, get in your car roll down the windows, crank up the tunes and drive off... prove to yourself like I did that you are in control of that thing you call your life.

I walked out on one of the biggest names in this biz 3 years ago and have worked for myself ever since, and i love the fact i can wake up any day of the week I want and do whatever I want, keep my shit tight and on top of my game and as long as theres money in the bank, we good...

I fucking love this job.

Are you really in control of your life? If so, leave the office now, go home and do what you want, go to the ocean, go surfing, go run around the block, prove to yourself you are free, if you really are.

I've been happily posting at home for a year or two now (just now starting in the adult biz), but been doing entrepreneurship for a while, and I'm only 18 - so I'm doing alright so far (making a better income than my parents).

Did that yesterday, only instead of the beach I took a friend who was playing hooky from work to the Napa Valley for lunch and some wine tasting.

That is why I love this job too. I don't have a $100,000 car or a mansion, in fact I don't particularly want either. I do have a good degree of financial security and a carefree lifestyle.

It just hit 1 PM, I'm sitting here checking my stats on something started 4 years ago and this shits really paying off. It blew my mind when it started, and it still blows my mind now.

I have affiliates under me who are making thousands of dollas, and I see 10% of it, I see people who started 2 years ago under me, making sometimes even more than me, only because I see their %.

This industry has never ceased to amaze me. Kman knows who I worked for, and I am sure he can attest to the same, when I started in this Industry I was in New Orleans, one email lead to landing a job In SOuthern California, and taking my live web cam skills to Southern California and utilizing those skills for one of the biggest names in this Industry.

Moving from New Orleans to California was enough, but to think at 26 I can sit here and at 1 PM turn up my stereo as loud as I want, and let it be known these fucking Infinities Bump dawg... young, in shape, high as a motherfucker and just trying to keep afloat, but knowing I dont call a man boss is enough to kee a smile on my face.

Its been a long way, worked lots of 60 hour weeks for the man, but now bruh,... its all about what I want... I am a musician by trade and have toured this country playing shows and even recording and working with many well known bands, even now, I am still very assocated with the music world and hang out with some very known recording engineers and record producers... using this money I have made in this Industry to fuel my hobbies has been one of the most rewarding things of my life, ever.

I have smoked herbs with Geroge Clinton, and drank Budweiser with David Lee Roth, and love every god damn minute of my life knowing that it can all disappear in less than a second.

I lost 4 family members in the last 3-5 months, not sure, and I have seen a friend younger than me go by getting his face cracked on the sidewalk of new orleans for a parking spot. So thats why I make posts like this,... no matter whats going on, it can all disappear in a second, and Ive seen it and dont like it.

Thats why I invite what I do,... security is only as promising as brake peddle of your car.

Heh, in response for those of you who like the office environment, do what I did.

I work for myself now, got an office, put up some cubicles, but decked them out with home type accessories. I even have cable TV in my cubicle. I rent the office suite and I am the only person in here, but the office is decked out. Nice little couch, TV, radio, and soon a saltwater fish tank :)

Nothing beats working for yourself. Especially in a time when others are getting laid off from these telcom companies, and this past weekend I was sitting on the deck of my cottage with my laptop, fishing pole in the lake and checking stats, all while drinking a long island ice tea. Later in the day I went jet skiing.

Even though I am still struggling getting this biz going a little I enjoy the life I live. Never have to worry about getting laid off ever again. If I dont have money, its my own fault and no one else is to blame. I work hard, but I play hard too.

I love coming into work with shorts and a t-shirt, life is great :)

AHAHAHA but the Onion is not real, Ive smoked herbs and drank with Diamond Dave in his Pasadena Home, and talked with him of of the Ramones and Chuck Berry and even smoked out of a custom pipe Dave gave me himself. Of course in response to the custom bong I gave him which was like the stereotypical ship in a bottle but it was a fat pipe with a blown glass dragon head in the jar, facing whoever was smoking, and when you inhaled and hit the pipe the glass dragon blew and puffed the herbs back at you, like looking into a dragons face.

Got a friwend to blow the glass for him, was a 1700 job.

We also made him a custom bong that was like a plant,... glass leaves and all, he smokes only the best, pruoud to smoke from the same dealer as Dave.

Yeah David Lee Roth and I share the same herb dealer, nice fucking world aint it.

It's been close to a year since I quit my "day job." You would think taking close to a 6 figure pay cut would be tough, but I got over it pretty quick. I'm much, much, much happier with my new lifestyle. Not to mention mentally and physically healthier...

Being able to set my own schedule and pursue my hobbies/passions alone makes it worthwhile. Sleeping in every day doesn't hurt either. God willing, I will never have to work for the man again. I make a much better boss for myself anyway.
