Looking for a good internet provider in the UK
 

My girlfriend lives in Britain. At the moment she is using AOL broadband which she finds completely crap. I am not familiar with British internet providers. So I would like to ask the Brits on this board if they can recommend a good and reliable broadband provider.

I have to admit I've used BT without any problems, although Sky has a good looking offer it's just released.

I use BT but the Hoff says use Pipex.

BT or Telewest are the best go with one of those.

BT are the best without doubt for ADSL in the UK.

BT by miles.

Thanks for all the advice. It will probably be BT. My girlfriend tells me to warn every Brit on this board how crap AOL is in the UK!
