I'm going to be there for the Webmaster Access show anyway and have booked a few days extra quality time :)

What are the things I should really really check out ?

Well we are heading to Magic Mountain for some awesome roller coasters. This time of year the lines aren't bad at all.

Watts Towers should not be missed. It is beautiful at night.

Grab a fun rental car.You can get Porsche's at a number of places.There are a lot of really great roads to drive around Santa Monica.Stone Canyon Road is one of my favorites.

Getty Center for sure. santa monica pier. this is if you want the sights that people travel and tourist for.

then also you'll want to see the ocean and venice beach and come visit porn valley for a day.

Venice Beach on the weekends is definitely a must see freak fest.

The Beverly Hills Hotel or the Four Seasons bar for a (relatively) inexpensive way to possibly see some celebrities - if you're into that.

People sponsor trips to Universal Studios and Magic Mountain, but those are just tourist traps. Perhaps we should sponsor a trip to the towers one night, after the bars close.
