Are you using Comus thumbs?
 

i have a copy, but last time i loged in to add galleries i remember it took a shitload of time to make thumbs for each gallery....lots of d/l from gallery servers etc..did it change? any easier way to make thumbs? please enlighten me.

i got one..
since last time i used it nothing really changed.. so my guess is no still the same :)

I have about 15 domains running it now.
To make thumbs, I open about 15 review pages at once, do some other work while they all load and thumb them by hand and repeat

havent used comus in months, use smart thumbs now

thats way too much if you add 2000 galleries at once.

Smart Thumbs is better imo

You aren't using turbo cropper inside of CT?

I can thumb pretty fast with turbo cropper.

I don't think there is a better cropping tool than turbo cropper for comus, I can do several hundred a day, pretty easy, low file size and good looking

With it's manual cropper you can do several 1000 a day..
Or you just have the script create them automaticaly (a few thumbs per gallery) and have them auto casted.. after a short time the script calculates what thumbs are best according to the click avarages it got and deletes the bad ones. leaving you only with the best possible thumbs.. aint it neat?

If you need to have control over thumbing, use the turbo cropper and do 5k galleries in a couple days, pretty easy, I do it all the time, if you need them done in an hour, use the auto cropper, If you want to be an idiot, don't know the facts and spread the BS

Precisely. I autocrop them all right off the bat, and then manually re-crop the ones I don't like. Piece o' cake.
