Tell me all about it; healing time, ease of care, etc.

I've studied up on them but I'd like to hear first hand from someone about their experience.

I really want one and will be getting it soon.

it swelled up HUGE, took about a week to heal

I had one and wore it for years. I had to take it out because it fucked up my bottom gums. Over the years, it literally wears away your bottom gums (where your 2 bottom teeth are). Be prepared for that, if you want to wear one.

fuckkk, i got one, was awesome, not hard to take care of, i got it, didn't hurt a bit, washed it every vcouple of days with sea salt water, and rotated it, no problems at all, had to take it out for an old job, and it closed, getting it redone here soon

Had one... had to ditch it cause it got in the was of my sexy sext goatee...

Thinking about doing the right side of my lip...

Healing time wasn't bad, swelling for a week or so, less painful then ear cartilage for me, more painful than tongue...

Avoid tabasco sauce for first 4 weeks... trust me.
