Sit down in the living room can't sit your coffee cup down on the table because of a stupid plant or ash tray... come in the door no place to sit your gun down.....

I always run into that problem. When will people learn they need to have a place for their guests to store their gun at when they are visiting.

Is it a shotgun or handgun? I usually leave my shotgun propped against the wall just inside the trailer door. I hang my handgun by the trigger-guard on the nail holding the fly-strips.

ok., I can agree with the shotgun location. But the hand gun shold never be by the fly strips. Fist off the flys will shit all over it before they die. Then in an emergency( like a coon being on the back porch) you may get the fly strips stuck to your face.

You know if you really hang your handgun that way from a nail,
One of these days you're going to be in a hurry and when you grab the gun..

The nail will hit the trigger and you'll shoot something.

I was just frustrated because I like to sit my gun on the TV set when I come in and now there's a stupid vcr (with: OF COURSE: something sitting on it)

So by the time I knocked the VCR off the TV and sat my gun down I was annoyed
