Firefox 2.0 Crashfest?

Is anyone else having this thing crash every fucking 10 minutes? Has this been posted 4 million times already?

EdgeXXX 11-01-2006 12:08 AM

No, mine isn't crashing but it does get slow and buggy as hell every so often for no apparent reason...

Bro Media - BANNED FOR LIFE 11-01-2006 12:13 AM

nope, no crashes, no slowness, nothing, actually works better then 1.5 for me

Babaganoosh 11-01-2006 12:19 AM

Works pretty well for me so far. No crashes or anything but I do notice some weirdness on sites with flash.

JD 11-01-2006 12:20 AM

I agree with LOL : D

martinsc 11-01-2006 12:21 AM

works great for me...
didn't crash even once...

MaddCaz 11-01-2006 12:23 AM

mine crashed earlier. Was annoying as shit

Matt 26z 11-01-2006 12:39 AM

Next time use a real browser coded by true professionals. Firefox has always been unstable. For every MSIE crash, you'll have 25 Firefox memory leaks and crashes.

TreasureBucks 11-01-2006 12:49 AM

Getting the same thing here. On all our computers.
Pretty damn annoying.

toddy1999 11-01-2006 12:51 AM

no problems here.working just fine

V_RocKs 11-01-2006 12:57 AM

I'm no open source apologist, but..

how's that spyware working out for you?

gooddomains 11-01-2006 01:12 AM

crashing left and right since RC1, submitted dozen of reports to them, I am sure that a million other users are having the same problems. FF 2.0 is a piece of shit, they should have delayed it until it's working....

woj 11-01-2006 01:13 AM

doesn't crash for me at all :thumbsup

KRL 11-01-2006 01:15 AM

Running perfect without any crashes on 4 PC's so far.

What spyware? MSIE + common sense = no spyware.

And it is a FACT that Firefox has more exploits than IE does. Hackers just don't target a browser with less than 10% market share.

It's funny that when they find an IE exploit, it's big news. Yet when they are found in Firefox, everyone is mum about it.

Ace_luffy 11-01-2006 03:45 AM

that's a virus!!

Don't be so sure :1orglaugh

Considering MS bundles spyware into XP and MSIE builds, I would say it's a pretty safe bet.

Sublim3 11-01-2006 04:48 AM

Mr. Marks 11-01-2006 06:17 AM

FF2.0 crashes my shit. I have to use an older version.

wyldblyss 11-01-2006 06:35 AM

No crashes, but I'm having problems saving jpg's. It is extremely annoying

pornpf69 11-01-2006 06:58 AM

I am waiting a little longer to install it....

EdgeXXX 11-01-2006 07:10 AM

The only time mine is really slowing down or getting really buggy is when I have multiple windows open with multiple tabs in each and one of them has auto-starting multimedia on the page (flash, videos, etc.). However, I ended up having to disable my CoolIris extension because the damn thing started doing weird shit like randomly popping up preview windows to links that weren't even on the damn page I was looking at... Overall, most of my old extensions were pretty painless to convert or update to work with FF2.

czarina 11-01-2006 07:19 AM

no crashes for me. But try running disk cleanup often and that will help with the slowness

sexybabe 11-01-2006 07:20 AM

pigman 11-01-2006 07:35 AM

Havent updated yet, my current version is good.
