DRAMAS: I'm Calling Out The CEO Of Marina Pacific!
LAWDS MERCY CRIPE MIGHTY!
Apparently the CEO of Marina Pacific, a primarily gay distributor, has been donating money to the REPUBLICAN PARTY for some time now. Wait. It gets worse. This includes a $500 donation to GEORGE W. BUSH'S re-election campaign! GURL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't know if this "Nicholas Boyias" guy is gay or not, but I really hope he isn't. What kind of self-hating homosexual would donate money to help get George W. Bush re-elected? And that's GAY MONIES he's donating none the less! CRIPE! Someone needs to burn down the Republican's Log Cabin cuz Uncle Tom done left the building! http://www.xbiz.com/news_piece.php?id=17901 http://www.gaymainstreet.com/TheStre...c/catfight.gifhttp://www.gaymainstreet.com/TheStre...c/catfight.gifhttp://www.gaymainstreet.com/TheStre...c/catfight.gifhttp://www.gaymainstreet.com/TheStre...c/catfight.gifhttp://www.gaymainstreet.com/TheStre...c/catfight.gifhttp://www.gaymainstreet.com/TheStre...c/catfight.gifhttp://www.gaymainstreet.com/TheStre...c/catfight.gifhttp://www.gaymainstreet.com/TheStre...c/catfight.gifhttp://www.gaymainstreet.com/TheStre...c/catfight.gif |

Maybe if the Democrats would nominate someone better than Bush he would not be forced to donate to the Republican party.
|

The Republican Party, and their #1 henchman George W Bush, have used hate tactics and bigotry against gays to win election after election. The thought of gay money going to help that cause makes me sick to my stomach. Those 2 ultra conservative bigoted asshats he appointed to the Supreme Court will be what prevents my partner and I from ever being able to get married. Fuck him and everyone that supported him. |

So you're upset that someone donated money to a political party that they believed in under their own free will?
Interesting. |

[quote]It turns out that the Republican National Committee is a regular
recipient of political contributions from Nicholas T. Boyias, the owner and CEO of Marina Pacific Distributors, one of the largest producers and distributors of gay porn in the United States. This recent article on Marina Pacific's new marketing campaign form XBiz, a porn industry trade sheet, notes that, in addition to producing its own material, the "company acts as a distribution house to hundreds of lines, mostly gay, 40 of which can be purchased only through MPD." The company actually seems to be a trendsetter in the industry. As Boyias recently noted, "We have always modeled ourselves after a Fortune-style company. They are the models of exceptional customer service. We have formed strategic alliances with our vendors and customers alike, offering them tools and marketing to assist them in succeeding with their business models. Our one-on-one interpersonal relationships have never been duplicated in the distribution industry." Some recent releases include "Fire in the Hole", "Flesh and Boners", even a "Velvet Mafia" series. FEC.gov lists Boyias as contributing to the RNC three times in 2004 and two times in 2005. The NRCC got a little too. But only $250. The FEC records list Boyias as either "self employed" or as owner and CEO of NTB Inc. But the California Secretary of State's website lists Boyias' NTB, Inc as located at 7077 Vineland Ave, which turns out to be the same address where Marina Pacific is located.[quote] |

Guess again. It is the people, not the Supreme Court. |
there's no gay republicans?

The American majority don't want gay marriage. For example, Californians just voted it down recently. It lost by a wide margin in one of the most liberal states in the union. As long as the majority does not want it, it doesn't belong. That's an inconvenient truth for you. |

You're pushing for a strict party line following here. I don't agree with that at all. I have voted for both Democrats and Republicans, and Democrats definitely suit my personal situation much better than Republicans. I vote for the person I believe to be the best of available options, not along party lines. I hate when people blindly follow their party. |
it is crazy when you type in "Nicholas Boyias marina pacific" into google
you get some pretty far right media outlets with his name on it |

Someone translate this. I have no fucking clue what this clown is trying to say. |

By the way, there are many very wealthy people that are Democrats. If they followed party lines they would all be Republicans.

Bullshit again! Sometimes the job of government is to protect the minority from the majority. There was a time when people in the south, in states like Alabama, didnt' want to see an end to segregation, and if it had been put to a vote, blacks would still be sitting at the back of the bus in that state and many others. It took the courts to say hey, fuck you Alabama and the south, you redneck asshole biggots. What's right is right. Equal Protection. |
you go get em gay boy!

By the way, if the government should trump the people in this situation (and I don't necessarily disagree with you), then why do so many people think the government can't trump the people in instances such as war? |

Separate Is Never Equal. The constitution talks about Equal Protections, which is EXACTLY the clause that put an end to segregation. |

Let me get this straight. You post your opinion on a message board. I question your opinion and thought process, because I'm genuinely interested in what you think and why you think it. And because I'm questioning your thought process, you pull the "I'm glad I don't do business with you" card. :1orglaugh I didn't realize this was third grade recess. |

You might hate me for thinking this boyalley, but personally I find it a bit funny that Bush is using funds from gay porno company. I mean a porno company alone is enough to make him a total hypocrite, but gay porn?
This is the party of "family" and "morality" right guys? Sorry, I think in a way it's a slap in the face to Bush and his supporters, and this may be part of the reasoning behind the contribution. |
