Anybody else a huge fan of the series?

I used to be... up until VII... but then I just lost touch.

i am for sure. love it and can't wait to play it. hope they put in some cool characters not like the last one that was more like x but then with only girls to play with.

exactly, FFX-2 was by far the most GAYEST game I've ever played...

Ill defrinately scoop it up. I am a huge fan of FFIX. IMO it's one of the best. It seems to keep in touch with the older games in terms of style. I never beat it though. I always played until the end and ended up getting busy and forgetting about it before I could finish. One day I'll beat it though. One day.

I didn't care for VIII, X was good, never played X2. There is something about the more realistic ones that just don't capture the fanatasy feel that I experienced with the older ones.

Wasn't this out over a month ago?

Also, I hope to god they brought back the world map. I really didn't like that it was removed.

Maybe I'm just too old fashioned, but I really like things like the world map, hp/mp, weapons that you give you different skills, not being able to inflict more than 9999 damage, etc.

I'm not a big fan but the rest of my family loves Final Fantasy.

there are too many of those games...wayyy too many...

When they do a remake of FF7 for the PS3 get back to me.

Ive had it bootlegged for about a month, its awesome

anything after 7 is complete shit. even that one was borderline.

nothing can compare to final fantasy 3 [6 in japan]

im definately going to pick this up
