How faster is a Formula 1 ?
 

They did a race between a "regular" Mercedes Street car, A kompressor Top of the line modifed Mercedes and A street Racer Mercedes car PLUS Clouytard Formula one. Each one was starting wiath an handicap..

If you start with a handicap/advantage you are already the loser. With the right handicap I can beat Tiger Woods.

I miss Murray Walker (the commentator from the vid) doing formula 1 commentry. Its not the same now he has retired the guy could get excited watching paint dry.

Murray Walker made F1 on TV for me. I particularly liked it when he was working with James Hunt, because the contrast between them was so sharp.

Murray: There's a fiery glow coming from the back of the Ferrari
James: No Murray, that's his rear safety light

I remember one time it was getting close to the end of a season and he explained how whichever almost-champion it was had told him not to say anything about his chance of winning, because he was sure that if Murray did, it wold jinx him :)

The end is amazing, the Touring car over takes the two road cars but Coulthard just blitzes by them all. Unbelievable...

If you want to test the speed of them, then why the handicap? How out everything from the starting line at the same time.

You can't by the original formula 1 but this one comes pretty close.

The effect of seeing Coulthard smoking everybody coming out of the last corner
after all the handicap shows it way better then just seeing the F1 disappear after the first corner (if they had started all at the same time) :2 cents:
