What exactely is deep-linking? Not sure if I understood that all right!

it means instead of the link above leading to the news article, it would have had to go to the front page of the site.

A bit stupid and nieve if you ask me.

a) it's a basic fundamental of how the net works
b) a little htaccess and they could have saved themselves a big legal bill
