Which would you rather have? (Payout Question)
Would you rather make $35 per signup on a really cheap trial (Like $1)
Or make $40 per signup on a $5 or $7 trial? I've noticed alot of programs that have high payouts but their default trial price is between 4.99 and 7.99 I've noticed that really cheap trials convert better and more than make up for the slightly lower payout, but I wonder how many webmasters actually pay attention to things like that and only notice what the payout per signup is. Which would you prefer? |
i prefer $1 trials at $30 rather than $4.95 trials at $35
i would say the $1 trial with a $30 payout.
I would take $1 trials at $25 payout and $2.95 at $30 payout anytime over a $4.95 $40 payout.
$4.95 trials are better for the industry than $1.00 trials
$4.95 works for me
1.00 trials do rock it ... *cough* $30 *cough*
This is a surprising response, I'm glad to see that people actually pay attention to trial prices rather than just the payouts.
It all really boils down to the quality/salability of the site..
shitty conversions with overused content-- low trial-high payout great conversions with exclusive content-- higher trial cost-lower payout |
one dollar trials...i always have it much easier converting them...

There are some sites that sell well without offering trials at all....however, how much more could they sell if they had a really cheap trial? |
I prefer 1.00 trials with 30.00 pay outs
