First, California passed Wisconsin in 1993 as the top milk producing state and now is poised to dethrone Wisconsin in cheese production. Currently, Wisconsin makes 2.4 Billion pounds of cheese per year and California produces 2.14 Billion pounds. Must be all those cool cow ads!! :winkwink:
