I've never watched his show, but he came off as a pretty level headed guy. Any fans here? How's his new book (the one he was promoting)?

I saw most of it, and I would say he's level headed with this provision: Under his own definition of "level". lol

For example, stating that you either have to be right or left is pure crap. You can be centrist (middle left, middle right) and not be "indecisive" as he says you MUST be if you consider yourself centrist. The old "with us or against us" crappolla. There are some aspects of both that can appeal to you, and that doesnt make you indecisive. It makes you an independant thinker, not beholden to party-lines.

And the way he ridiculed that one audience member as a "fox hater" when the man stated his strong opinion that fox was far from "fair and balanced" was pure comedy.

The one thing about him is that he seems 101% convinced and confident that he's correct in everything he says. A good salesman, no doubt about it.

The bottom line is either you think for yourself or other people will do the thinking for you. Thats what this world comes down too...that is probably what he is doing.

Definitely. He's selling his views, and people are buying. Can't deny it I suppose with his show being top rated for the last 4 or 5 yrs. Personally, even if I agreed with him I doubt I'd watch his show. I hate those shows where it's a shouting match.

O'reilly while not appearing sane is probably extremely smart and doesn't even care about the stuff he talks about, just does it for publicity which leads to money...

I personally despise O'Reilly, but I thought he did a pretty decent job of not looking like an idiot on both Oprah and Letterman. I'm sure he won over a whole lot of people.

He doesn't act the same in interviews as he does on his show. Away from FOX News he acts indipendant. His show is very pro-Republican though.

I actually respected O'reilly until the Jeremy Glick incident. He lost all respect from me after that... He cut Jeremy's mic, even threatened to physically harm him after the cameras were off. O'reilly is a deplorable human being and if you don't think the way he does he's going to cut your mic and do everything he can to smear you. O'reilly even had the audacity to try to use Glick’s dead father against him, thankfully Glick never fell for his baiting.

I watched a few times in the past weeks his show on Fox ... it is entertaining.. and if you stop thinking, he can make you believe about anything ... he had a little c*u*n*t on the show called Michelle Malkin .. she makes him look like a leftist .... :1orglaugh
