getting a ps3
 

OK so i think the launch of the ps3 is nov 11th and 17th for Japan and US. That right? And EU has a march release date. Would it be possible to buy one from the US (from one of you fuckers probably) and just use a power adaptor in the EU?

ok, 1st off for you to get your hands on one.. you are going to end up having to buy one of the pre regged ones.. then you are going to have to convince someone to ship it to the UK and violate internation copyright laws.

and if there are any taxes or anything like that.

What about the region protection? I know sony isnt going to protect their own games but the 3rd parties are anybody's guess and the DVD's will be region protected. Or is europe under the same "region" making it a mute point?

About the region protection thing. Could I just buy games and dvds off the US amazon? I do most of my game buying online anyway so it wouldnt be much of a change. Or is there a problem with me getting US games and whatnot delilvered into the country??
