Are you more hostile on GFY than other boards?
 

I notice when I try and chat with people on GFY they are instantly hostile, but when I see the same people post on other boards they are very pleasant

while you are on GFY do you instantly think people are going to give you shit and they are being smart asses, so you instantly put up a guard?

GFY brings out the worst in people.

GFY seems to have more trolls/haters but I think I'm pretty easy going and laid back

I'm thinking people are more like themselves on GFY anything goes here, nothing is too shocking or rude. Acting differently on GFY and other boards is basically the same thing as acting differently around your friends and your grandparents.

Except that I have more patience for newbies than supposedly experienced webmasters, I'm much the same on all the boards. I may think a little less about my posts here because I don't really expect most of them to have an audience, but that is about the only difference.

I've become so used to this board. I went to a mainstream board (a none businesses oriented forum) and wound up getting temporarily banned within a week.
