What's your favorite beer?

I used to sell beer for a few distributors in the bay area. I had a house full of all sorts of microbeers and imports at all times.

Heres a list of my all time favorites.

Cosendonk
Chimay White
Newcastle
Spaten Oktoberfest
Anderson valley Boont Amber
Stella Artois
Franziskaner

ohh i forgot Rasputin's Imperial Stout. Fuckin Yummmmmmy!

and believe it or not, theres something to be said for ice cold Bud LIGHT when I'm at a hockey, football, or baseball game.

What's yer poison?

Sosa 10-29-2006 04:47 PM

Mostly Bud Light, sometimes Corona or Bud Select too.

SomeCreep 10-29-2006 04:49 PM

Yep, In Mexico, they salt the rim of the pint glass, fill it a little less than a quarter full with fresh lime juice, then pour the Corona... it's called a Michu-alada. Fucking good.

I dig those and I love some Guinness

BusterBunny 10-29-2006 04:55 PM

Sly 10-29-2006 05:35 PM

Ice cold Bud Light. Freezing cold. Very good, I think. I never got into the thick darker beers.

Jace 10-29-2006 05:36 PM

if I can't drink newcastle I won't drink beer

my second favorite beer is georgia moonshine

Sly 10-29-2006 05:37 PM

Though if I'm at a Mexican place I'll have a Corona. Must have a lime though. Without the lime I think Corona is pretty awful. Beer shouldn't need an extra element to be good, you should be able to pop the cap and start drinking.

Lance69 10-29-2006 05:38 PM

Honey Lagers, and Honey Ales.
That or Pipers Pale Ale, a Vancouver Island micro brew.
Although nothing is better than Strongbow Apple Cider!

VXVhedpeVXV 10-29-2006 06:01 PM

Bud Light, Spotted Cow, Labatt Blue

he-fox 10-29-2006 06:07 PM

From your list, Stella. Generally, European lager beers do it for me, Warsteiner, BitBurger, Carlsberg, Tuborg, Nastro Azurro, czech, german and so on. Cerveza Imperial here is not bad at all, too.

Spunky 10-29-2006 06:12 PM

Nastro Azurro or Peronis

MaddCaz 10-29-2006 06:13 PM

I'm really partial to Sea Dog's seasonal Pumpkin Ale... I love it. Sea Dog also makes a Blueberry Wheat beer that I adore.

I like Pacifico a lot.

A local brewing company makes a beer called 'Nosferatu' that's also pretty good.
