Do you use RSS FEEDS?

just out of curiosity, do you use rss feeds

Sly seems to think no one uses them and the urge to better them isn't there because there is no money being made off them

Yep, on my blog, and Im working on integrating them into my TGP's too for some stuff :)

I've noticed the feeds we just released a couple days ago are getting some decent use already too, so ppl do use them for sure.

I did, and replied to it. You're talking about Channel titles right? We have those setup correctly but I've noticed many programs do not.

nope

I am talking about an rss feed that uses the title as the link and doesn't place any links in the post itself

I suggest anyone that is going to put rss feeds in their program to download a copy of wordpress and also find something like feedwordpress....install everything and see how your feeds turnout

when you don't include any links in your posts, your feeds end up looking like this in blogs: http://babes.adailyfix.com

Jace,
My feeds get hung up just like that page and it pisses me off to no end.
Does anyone have a code snippet to fix that?

I auto update several sites with data from RSS feeds.

Theo The Theologian 10-31-2006 02:01 PM

RSS? What is this hocus pocus you speak of?

starpimps 10-31-2006 02:16 PM

i started using them, updating 30 sites is just to much daily

itto 10-31-2006 02:26 PM

i use em mainly to update sites and if i get signups from em - im happy!
if you just put up a blog with some feeds on it (and if thats your whole business model), dont expect it to convert - at least thats what i experienced.
