In finland it's not illegal to DOWNLOAD pretty much anything, but it is illegal to share even thru p2p networks etc. That being said, using pirated software IS illegal. I don't think they've decided yet whether downloaded mp3's are illegal.

that being said, I don't have any illegal mp3's or software on my computer. Oh, how many 1000's of dollars I would have saved had I not been foolish enough to purchase or license everything I have :(
