whats your opinion on this market? will it be the next .com market? are people grabbin up the realestate?

nothing will beat .com ever

.mobi is IMO overhyped

yes people are grabbing them up but think its still questionable how effective .mobi will be

i never thought .mobi would be anything...

why chosse a domain where visitors have to type in one more letter in their browsers?

Nothing will ever come close to .com's
But people can make money from hype :winkwink:

i saw ppl on se boards started purchasing .mobi since september so i don't think any interesting names are left

sure its a hype but if mobile internet does take off then they will be quite valuable...

overhyped for sure...

all depends how cellphones change in the next few years. with the cellphone companies pushing for it, along with ms and google i can't see them just doing nothing with it. however there will only be certain domains that will be worth much of anything. i can't see people using the internet on cellphones like they do on desktops. i've got a few, one im pretty sure will be worth some good money if it takes off.

They will never catch on as you can just detect the device accessing your .com and send them to a WAP version of the site. And the 4 letter thing is odd to why not .m if they were serious about it.

BTW anybody have any WAP traffic ;) I can convert it for you
