Ok, I have a Member....

who really loves me:)) I was really wanting to get my kiddies a Wii for xmas. After doing tons of searching around on the web it seemed as though it was not going to happen. I then seen a post I believe here on GFy that stated that Toys R Us would be doing preorders this morning. So, I stopped by Toys R Us at around 3 yesterday afternoon and there were teenagers there camping. So, I didnt bother getting up early as I knew it just wasnt going to happen. This afternoon I received an email from Santa (a member of my site), hehehe. Yes, this member was Santa thats for sure. He had 5 people stand in line since yesterday afternoon all round the states (different places). He has some pull with special treatment with the Bost Red Socks. So, he offered the first person out of the 5 that provided him with the proof, a special treatment package. He notified me this afternoon. One in a million I say. He pulled it off. Such a sweetheart, made me tear up. The kiddies will have their Wii for xmas:)) Thought I would share my lil story.

Hugs,
Jen

I understand what all of you are saying but... It's so sad that this is how we think (I think that way as well sometimes). Ya know what I mean? Here's a question for you. Would you have done it for a freind if you could? See I am the type of person that would have if I could. That's just me. Sometimes it feels good to know that there are others out there that are as kind as I can be. He knew he could brighten my day. Act of kindness in my mind. But, Im not nieve either I understand what all of you are saying. I like to see the good in people, can ya tell, lol.

Hugs,
Jen

Depends on how "a friend" is defined. If it's a "online friend" then no - not unless I hoped for "something else/more" to happen in that relationship (like meeting IRL etc.) :-)

If it's an IRL friend, then yes - I'd have jumped to the moon (twice) and back to please him/her :-)

There ya go, getting all human over business :winkwink: Sure, yes - you do stuff for friends and understand what you are saying - it's very kind of the guy. It makes a change to see a giver than a taker.

But... Keep you guard up and take care :thumbsup
