My fastest and best potatoe recipe. You'll love it.
Two version here.
Bachelor(ie. lazy MoFo) and Chef Bachelor: - Red potatoes are best but Irish really good too - Cut two cups of potatoes into 1/2 inch cudes/slices - bring small pot of water to boil - add 1/2 teaspoon salt - add 1 table spoon italian spices(like used in spaghetti sauce) - add 1 large bay leaf - Boil medium temp for 10-15 mins. - Drain and server (optional...serve with butter) Chef : - Red potatoes are best but Irish really good too - Cut two cups of potatoes into 1/2 inch cudes/slices - bring small pot of water to boil - add 1/2 teaspoon salt - add 1 table spoon italian spices(like used in spaghetti sauce) - add 1 large bay leaf - add 1/2 teaspoon Marjoram - add 1 teaspoon Rosemary Leaves - add 2-3 ounces olive oil - Boil medium temp for 10-15 mins. - Use spoon with holes to serve(to keep some oil) Try it once and you'll keep a big bag of potatoes at home after that! |

I like taking the red potatoes and dicing them up, put them on a baking pan and drizzle them with EVOO and then lightly salt and pepper. There so good as a side dish.

I have a faster way, it is called a microwave and flakes, lol

I have a potato recipe that I love and make at least once a week..
Boil some potatoes, drain them and let them cool. Cut them in 1/4 inch slices. Mix them with red onion rings and lots of fresh rocket salad. Then pour a dressing consisting of 1 part olive oil, 1 part vinegar and one part water over it all and mix it around.. ohh.. put some salt and pepper on it too.. it is fucking great :-) try it with a nice steak or something like that |

Sounds good :) I like to cut them into wedges, then in a shallow pan, salt and lemon pepper seasoing, olive oil over them, roll them around a bit until everything is all coated, then roast in the oven a while. Maybe even some browned/caramalized chicken on top.. man I want some now. Best to turn them over once during cooking.
For simple I like small red taters, scrubbed (skin always on), make the water salty like the sea, boil a while.. thats it! lol Add butter and pepper on the plate. |

Wow the first recipe is totally retarded. Boiling the shit out of herbs is not gonna taste nice at all.
Can this even be called a recipe? Just boil the potato's in water with lots of salt. Then when they are done you can add chopped fresh herbs and butter. Don't put that italian sawdust anywhere near them. |

Tip - If you like jacket spuds put a metal knife through the center before you place them in the oven. The heat travels through the knife and makes them all nice and soft on the inside.
PS - I think GFY just got a little bit gayer. |

ok, here's my potato recipe....
cut the spuds into roughly 1 inch pieces put them in a big bowl. add enough olive oil coat them. add in a small handful of fine chopped rosemary, then a couple spoonfuls of kosher salt, a spoonful of garlic powder and some ground pepper. Mix together with your hands. spread it out on a baking sheet and bake until cooked through and just starting to get crispy outside. serve.... Also works well with dark meat chicken instead of potato...... |
You can do all that in two easy steps. Water + Italian salad dressing.
