How often are you supposed to update your blogs to get Google traffic?
 

does Google like once a day? several times a day? once a week?
does it matter?

weekly? nah
daily? yah

you can get away with 10 times a day/blog without tripping a google filter but that is pushing it. It also matters how many trusted sites link to you and what kind of pinging service you use.

my experience once a day worked best.

oh fuck, ive had some days where ive updated 20 times and checked ping on all of them.
could I get banned from google for that?

I see im still *in* Google and get a trickle of traffic from them, but the site is still new

It's fine to check if you're still in google do site:yourdomain in the google search box and see how many pages you have indexed

Google doesn't like spam blogs and human blogs only update 1 to 5 or 8 times a day... But no human blog updates 20 a day...

From my own experience, there is some kind of google filter for updating to often. I have tripped it many times and 5 to 8 a day seemed to get by it.

i update 3 times a day..but i am going to ask 3 very stupid question...

2. how?
3. why?
