problem with icq ! if i send links to someone they won't show up for him
 

anyone had this before?
is there a cure for it

going on like day four.
I been breaking uo links to send them.

it just started happening to me as well , like 2 days ago.. makes conversations hard

you also might notice if someone talks to fast it will eat their text thinking its a spam flood

i bet if you turned the spam filters off you wouldnt have a problem , but then you might get real spam.

but certain persons can see my links and others not!!

maybe it has something to do with the version?

I think it has to do with the recipient, not you.

Usually it is because one or the other has not been accepted on their authorized list, however, I know Martina Warren was telling me the other day that she can't seem to receive links from anyone anymore.

Not sure if she figured out why yet.

Yep, we have the same problem. There was one time, an argument broke out because one client thought that the guy he was talking to was being a retard when actually, the URL's he's been sending were not being sent.

It's been happening to me for the last 4 days as well. Now when I send a link to someone I remove the http:// from the links.

for last 4 days.sux big time :(

some kind of ICQ bug - i can't receive link URL's either for the last week - i'm gonna ask for my money back

happens to me sometimes too, i found the only way to correct it is to add them onto the contact list.

i have same problem with urls
and also im getting messages like 10 hours later sometimes

some people the past few days aren't getting regular messages from me(no urls). they get most, but then miss some every once in a while. all on my contact list as well. we emailed logs to each other and saw messages we both missed. hope they fix it soon :(

it's really fucking annoying because exchanging links via icq was/is an important thing for me.

it makes work almost impossible now.
