Add eXact Advertising to the "adware" list (AFF and Sexsearch use them)
http://www.exactadvertising.com/ (never do business with that "adware" site)
Background & Overview What companies pay eXact Advertising to show their advertisements? The question has come to have considerable practical significance. For one, a number of companies have announced their refusal to do business with so-called "adware" firms that, like eXact Advertising, install software on users' PCs to cover web sites with ads for their competitors. (See statements by Major League Baseball, Verizon, and Wells Fargo.), For another, many users dislike these programs and their aggressive installation tactics, and may seek to avoid supporting merchants whose advertising budgets help support such programs. http://www.benedelman.org/spyware/exact-advertisers/ List of sponsors who use eXact: (AFF and SexSearch lead the way). http://www.benedelman.org/spyware/ex...ds-dating.html Spyware Guides' Info on eXact: http://www.spywareguide.com/creator_show.php?id=49 PCTOOLS.com How to uninstall eXact: " eXact Advertising installs various other spyware applications such as CashBack and NaviSearch. These pieces of software deliver information to you in the form of advertisements and other content based on the URL's and/or search terms you enter when navigating the Internet. These advertisements and other notifications may be displayed on your computer screen at any time while you are online. " http://www.pctools.com/mrc/infection...t+Advertising/ Hey Lars, how many of these companies are you and your sex search buddies doing business with? |

Did eXact advertising hire you Will? After they saw how many new affiliates you sent to Zango?
Anyway, sounds like a nice program. Does anybody have a referral link? |
I would hate to be Lars, with all these companies FORCING him to spend money.
God, it has to suck. FREE LEGENDARY LARS! |
Lots more interesting results in the 'Adult" section as well.....
http://www.benedelman.org/spyware/ex...ads-adult.html BTW if you go to one of the AFF links in that page you posted Will - It shows something interesting Example http://adultfriendfinder.com/go/p128244.subcreative1 Did Clickcash term their affiliates as well? |
bottom line is that Bullseye converts. All the big names in mainstream have been with them since the beginning. Wouldn't be so if the traffic wasn't good. Don't hate the player, hate the game.

So what do you base this information on an alexa graph ? or do you know the people at zango and they told you because other then that I haven't heard anyone besides you and Dark Jedi that claims to send advertising their way. So who are these new zango affiliates you are talking about. (you don't need to answer we already know what the answer). |

Will, you really should have checked those links a bit better before making this thread :1orglaugh Maybe you could get the mods to delete it?
There are plenty of Adult sites on there including iFriends. You better get your buddy Al out of bed to can those accounts before the morning crowd gets here and rips you a new one with a variety of pwned pics. I thought iFriends would have simple scripts in place to catch affiliates sending adware traffic or is it in house? Damn rogue affiliates anyhow, not iFriends fault right? Your list of companies using adware traffic must be starting to look like a who's who of the Adult Industry. :thumbsup :error :1orglaugh :error :1orglaugh :error :1orglaugh I really wish you would focus your energy on educating the surfer rather than trying to have an effect on every adware company out there and the companies that use them. Let's use the adware = AIDS analogy If I only had a million dollars to fight the AIDS problem, I would help more people by distributing a million dollars worth of condoms rather than putting a million dollars into one of the many AIDS research programs or trying to get rid of prostitutes or bars or alcohol. I think the adware problem will be largely solved soon enough anyway when PCs ship with intelligent anti-adware software that won't let users install crap even when they "agree" to it. |
