Never even heard of it. What the hell is the point? Are they raising money for some foundation or just a bunch of freaks?

There was one in Toronto this past weekend. I know that there is also some sort of zombie collective in Montreal that gathers in places for similar events. They once "attacked" people who gather at Mont Royal to re-enact medieval battles.

It's a bunch of goths, punks and skids high on mushrooms, I havent witnessed it but I had a conversation about it with a group of freaks on the ferry once who were on the way. They get VERY excited about this event and do it every year.

Just watched the video ... Looks like a regular day on east hastings to me.

Look like I did leaving No5 most evenings a couple of years ago ;)

There is a similar thing happening in a couple of days (Oct 28th near Commercial Drive) called Parade of the Lost Souls - http://www.publicdreams.org/event_de...10&ye ar=2006

I was at this parade a few years back and it was amazing. They had set up spooky graveyard scenes with musicians playing classical music and all sorts of wild stuff. The parade ended in a big park and there was a few thousand people enjoying live bands...
